Ceremony held for Phase II of Sanford Courtyard

SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla.Leaders in Seminole County are announcing the extension of an affordable housing project in Sanford. On Wednesday, a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held for Phase II of Sanford Courtyard, located at 1021 E. 2nd St.

Seminole County’s Community Services Department contributed $1.6 million toward the project, which was developed through a local nonprofit organization.

Central Florida Home for Good was created to focus on building multi-family units to provide safe, affordable housing for local workers in need. The nonprofit was founded in 2019 by Kim Fogle, who said Phase II of the new development will continue making a big impact on the community.
