Central Florida Home for Good is working locally to help communities, families, and individuals create a home and build for the future.
On any given day, the number of people experiencing homelessness in Central Florida is over 2,000.
We're on a mission to change that.
Central Florida Home for Good’s mission is to build and manage safe, quality and truly affordable rental housing for low income working individuals and families. With your help, our residents are supported and set up for success.
Designed for working individuals and their families who have an income that is just over the line of qualifying for assistance, and yet are unable to afford regular rent payments, each layer of our community is carefully planned. These homes are within walking distance to bus stops, parks, grocery stores, and restaurants. Homes come fully furnished — down to the sheets on the beds — with state-of-the-art appliances and are located within a safe neighborhood with 24-hour monitored security cameras. Just as important, each resident is referred by a nonprofit partner who continues to provide support services whether it be transportation or counseling – all designed to help ensure everyone is supported and set up for success.
We believe everyone deserves a place to call home for themselves and their children. Our first community in Sanford, Florida, minutes from Lake Monroe, was built with quality materials, modern appliances, upgraded features (including granite countertops), and
manicured landscaping so families can live in a dignified, safe environment.
We plan to continue building communities that help families struggling to find affordable housing options, with our next property purchased and ready for compassionate partners to make it a reality.
